Arnold Sandwich Thins

Sassy enjoys an occasional sandwich, so she picked up these New Arnold Sandwich Thins.  Regular price $3.19, on sale for $2.50.

Arnold Sandwich Thins come in five varieties:
  • Honey Wheat
  • 100% Whole Wheat
  • Multi-grain
  • Whole Grain White
  • Seedless Rye
There are eight sliced sandwich thins in a 12 ounce package.  100 calories per sandwich thin with 0 cholesterol, 5g of fiber, 1g of fat, 2g sugar, 5g protein, 22g carbohydrate, 220mg sodium.  No high fructose corn syrup.  Not too shabby, though the sodium seems a bit high.

I really like these!  I've tried the Honey Wheat and the Multi-grain.  They are hearty, firmer than the average wheat bread.  Tastes great!

Sara Lee and Earth Grains and Pepperidge Farm are also making Sandwich Thins now, too.  Who stole the idea from whom?  haha

On a scale of one to ten, Sassy awards Arnold Sandwich Thins an 8.  Homemade bread might be tastier, but these are very good.  I will buy these instead of loaves of bread. The sandwich in the photo is braunschweiger (liver sausage), red onion and spicy brown mustard.

=^o^=

Hi there, I’m part of the Arnold and Oroweat Sandwich Thins company and we’re thrilled to see your post! We weren’t sure if you were serious about wondering who had the idea first - but just in case you were, it was Arnold and Oroweat. :) Thanks so much for your review!
